Favorite Moments From the Bride:
Watching my groom say his vows. I wrote the vows for us to make at the ceremony. They were a twist on what you'd consider your traditional to have and to hold vows. Turns out, I didn't realize how long I had written them and I couldn't help but giggle at Shane's face when he realized his vows weren't even close to being over.
After doing the traditional Father/Daughter dance, I surprised my mom with a special mother/daughter dance to Fleetwood Mac's Landslide. She cried (I'm talking boo-hoo'd) with joy the entire time!
Watching all of the little details come together. My wedding was definitely a mix of what can my vendor do for me and what can I do for myself. I was so pleased with every decision I made regarding each of my vendors, they were able to help me make my vision come to life and I was able to completely trust them the day of, which isn't easy to do for a control freak like myself. In addition to all of the vendor's work, my new hubby, my mom, my mother-in-law and myself were able to complete the most wonderful DIY projects. Gold paint and glitter and ribbon were everywhere at my house for months. My favorite project was the $2 vases we put together and painted for the centerpieces (yep-that's right, $2 bucks) two days before the wedding! It was just a joy to see it come together so beautifully.
After we were covered in snow (i.e., white biodegradable confetti) my groom and I drove away from our wedding and we looked at each other at the same time and said, "Can we do it again?" We truly had a blast and could not believe how fast it all went by!
