A Note From the Photographer: "Morgan and Alex met at Elon University, became good friends and the rest was history. After over a year of planning, and putting together DIY decor, Morgan and Alex were married on November, 5th. The girls were getting ready at their beautiful house, and when I walked in they greeted me like I was part of the family. While the girls were getting ready, Morgan and Alex’s adorable dogs overlooked the entire process to ensure their mom was being well taken care of! On the other side of town, the guys were getting ready in downtown Raleigh, while also enjoying a few drinks. The time came to hop in the limo and head to the gorgeous Melrose Knitting Mill for the rest of the evening. Morgan had her first looks with her Dad and Alex, and I don’t think there was a dry eye among those who witnessed those beautiful moments. They were surrounded by loved ones and friends, as they said their vows in front of a reflecting pool then headed upstairs where the real party began. The reception kicked off with the couples first dance, followed by the father/daughter and mother/son dances in which they invited all the fathers to bring their daughters up for a dance and the same with the latter. Although Morgan and her mom did a lot of the decorations themselves, the team of vendors who were a part of this wedding truly made the night amazing. From the thoughtful in-house wedding planners, wait and bar staff, to the talented DJ, they all made this night one Morgan and Alex would never forget. I truly enjoyed working along side them. Morgan and Alex danced and laughed the night away, surrounded by some pretty hilarious family and friends! One of the bridesmaids told me this night was like a reunion for a lot of their college friends. And we all know how fun a good reunion can be! Before we realized it, it was time to send the couple off in a tunnel of sparklers set against the night sky. It was the perfect way to send the couple into their future together!"
