Wedding Date: April 9, 2016
From the Photographer:
"My cup runneth over, that’s the best way to start this blog post. For so many reasons this wedding warms my heart and my soul. Tiffany and Nick, and their families, welcomed us with open arms. It always amazes me that when we feel like we are family and friends with our clients, we pull off some of our best work. Both of these families were caring, loving, open, and simply amazing! Everyone was happy all day – it’s as though a smile was part of the wardrobe, just as a black tie would be requested. I wish I could bottle up the energy when there is no stress and everyone is truly living in the moment. It’s a beautiful thing!I could talk about each one of the photos below for days — they all have such a raw quality of truth behind each one. I also have to mention that all of the photos in this blog post were shot on film cameras. We gushed over these on Facebook already because Doug simply couldn’t wait to share them (rightfully so). For the last year or so we have been working hard to identify the future vision and style of Arte de Vie and really pursue fully the style of wedding photography that we’re truly passionate about. With the encouragement of our friend Valerie Gernhauser with Sapphire Events New Orleans – Wedding and Event Design we started shooting film again last year, mainly on portrait and styled shoots. "
