Jessica & Arnold celebrated their wedding on May 20, 2016. It was the picture perfect day of a traditional New Orleans celebration! The bridal party got ready at the romantic New Orleans bed and breakfast, Grand Victorian Bed & Breakfast, situated in the beautiful Garden District. They exchanged vows at St. Anthony of Padua before heading over to the Riverview Room, located on the fourth level of the Jackson Brewery Millhouse in the heart of the French Quarter, where their celebration continued! They ended the night with a secondline dance before departing to their getaway vehicle, where their friends and family gathered with bubbles to make the night complete.

Shelbi & Josh wed on July 16, 2016 at Ephesians Farm in Alabama.
From the Photographer,
"Where to begin with these two? Let’s start at the beginning. Let’s start in the school halls where Shelbi and Josh met, and in high school, where they started dating. They were together for about eight years before they finally tied the knot. That’s exactly how we did it – eight years of dating and growing up together before finally taking the leap. So, we think there is something especially touching about high school sweethearts. All love stories are special, but something about that young love that morphs and grows into an old love and lifelong promise is something special. The ones who meet before they even know what love is, but believe in what it is that they have. The ones who grow up together and choose to never ever give up on each other. The ones who watch each other graduate from high school, go to college, and get their first jobs to then get to be there as they raise a child and grow old and gray. It gives us chills to think about it.We also love the story of how Shelbi and Josh got engaged. Josh had Shelbi’s engagement ring for an entire month! Josh was originally planning on proposing in Gatlinburg, Tennessee around Shelbi’s family, but the trip was canceled last minute. He then planned a Vulcan Park proposal, but Shelbi came down with a stomach bug. Third time was a charm when Josh popped the question in the living room right before going out to dinner. It wasn’t a big, elaborate plan, but it sure was awesome when he said “I just couldn’t look at that ring on my dresser instead of on your finger any longer!” Isn’t that the sweetest thing!? We think it happened just like it was supposed to!"

This whimsical wedding inspiration has it all: classic antique pieces, a country venue with vintage elegance and floral arrangements with bold and colorful flowers. The bride’s long sleeve Hayley Paige gown from Le Jour Couture displayed a stunning illusion floral bodice with a layered English net circular skirt. Jesse Faul Estes created a tousled yet elegant up-do, paired with a Jolie Petale Handmade floral half halo hairpiece, truly gave her appearance a bohemian feel. A dark smoky eye, combined with a plum lip done by Michelle Faul, completed this romantic and graceful bridal look. The picturesque naked cakes from Piece of Cake were detailed with leafy greenery, dark fruits and woodsy pinecones. Vintage champagne flutes, chargers, plates, table runners and linens from Midnight Moon Rentals and BBJ Linens created a classy, yet avant-garde tablescape. A bouquet and floral arrangement, inspired by deep berry, blush, olive and dark pink hues were designed by Mia Sanberg with Root Floral Design. No details were spared on the invitation suite and menu, crafted by Mary Catherine Calligraphy.

Dear Protea Flowers,
We're going to need you to make an appearance more often. You are uniquely beautiful!
Sometimes, incorporating a single pop of color can be tricky. E'MAGINE Weddings & Events designed this tablescape perfectly! The pops of red are beautifully arranged to where it does not over-power the design.
