Kena's bridal session at Rodney Baptist Church in Natchez, Mississippi is absolutely stunning! Captured by The Art & Photography of Candra George. Bouquet created by The Petaler Co.
From the Photographer:
"Kena lost her mother at 13 years old, to breast cancer. It was Easter Sunday. On her 18th birthday, she came home to find her father had passed of a heart attack. Six weeks later, Hurricane Katrina took her family home. She was on her own. While any one of those things could've broken her forever, she was strong. She finished school, fully supported herself, and serves her community as a 911 operator. Then she met Tyler. When it came to her bridal portrait, I wanted something that truly represented her, her strength, and how far she had come. The Rodney Baptist Church in Natchez, Mississippi was perfect. It was damaged, ravaged by flood waters only 6 weeks prior, but the light in the church shines like the light in Kena!"
Bonus photos just because.....
Carrie Jenkins's bridal session at the Old Sheldon Church Ruins in South Carolina is proof that it is okay to choose a unique location!
Many brides will choose to have their bridal portraits taken before their wedding day and a lot of times they just don't know where to have them at, so they either have them at the venue in which they're getting married (which there is absolutely nothing wrong with this!) or they go to a local well know photo destination spot.
But sometimes, you just want to find a location that is as unique as you; Carrie and Diana Deaver Photography absolutely nailed it with these gorgeous bridals!
Bridal portraits on a rope swing in an old tree, with a vintage car in a field. Bright pink shoes a chocolate lab puppy; all on a beautiful, old, rustic homestead in North Carolina.

Lindsay works in nature, plays in the forest, relaxes by the river, and lives in the mountains of North Carolina. So what better place to do bridals, than at the top of mountain just outside of Asheville!
Sometimes we forget that there are mountains in the southern region of our country and Capturing WNC Photography did a phenomenal job in reminding us of the beauty that surrounds us all!
